Larger hard tags may reach approximately \u003cstrong\u003e3 to 4 feet on each side of an antenna in favorable conditions\u003c\/strong\u003e; smaller hard tags and adhesive labels can have shorter effective detection distances. Tag orientation, merchandise, nearby metal, environmental RF noise, antenna placement and system tuning can all affect real-world performance.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor a \u003cstrong\u003esingle standard doorway\u003c\/strong\u003e, one Clarity antenna can be a practical starting point. For an entrance approximately \u003cstrong\u003e6 feet wide or wider, INEO generally recommends two Clarity antennas, installed one on each side of the doorway\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach Clarity antenna operates independently. A customer can start with one antenna and add another later.
