The AM 58KHz frequency was popularized by companies such as Sensormatic and is one of the competing Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) frequencies used in the retail anti-theft industry. The tags and label types vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but the performance of most are almost identical. It comes down to aesthetic preference. We offer a great choice of tag and label types and designs to choose from.
Removal of AM tags is done via a counter top detacher or a handheld detacher. Deactivation of labels is via a counter top deactivation unit which renders the label inactive via an electromagnetic field.
